Matt Timcho spent the first 30 years of his life in Atlanta, Georgia — surrounded by family and a love of everything Atlanta sports — before relocating to Dallas-Fort Worth a decade ago with the woman he calls his best friend, now his wife. The call to roofing came when Matt was finishing up in the Marine Corps and living at the beach, and from his very first sale, he knew he had found the work he was meant to do. When a major storm hit Douglasville, Georgia in 2012, the friend he called to start building his future was MJ — and from that call grew the company that is now TC Roofing & Restorations.
Matt's superpower is being likeable and genuinely wanting to help others, all reinforced by deep knowledge of roofing and the insurance restoration industry. His specialties are insurance claims, production, and construction — the trinity that holds any well-run roofing shop together. The career framework that still guides him: your 20s are for figuring out what you want to do, your 30s are for getting good at it, and your 40s are for maximizing the impact. Professionally, the achievement he is most proud of is building TC Roofing & Restorations into what it is today. Personally, the achievement he is most proud of is meeting and then marrying Alanna. His promise to teammates and clients is the same — there is nothing he will not do to make their lives better.
Home for Matt is Alanna and their two dogs, Luna and Kai. Off the clock, he travels, golfs, watches Georgia football, makes time for friends and family, and is always learning something new. He will quietly tell you he is a math whiz, a pretty good golfer, and can figure out how to install or do almost anything construction-related. Five-year retirement vision: golf three or four times a week.
